The actor’s fans in Bengaluru had to go home disappointed as the police sent them back home following a commotion outside the sets of Ajith’s upcoming film
All those Kollywood fans who were in the vicinity of the malls on MG Road on Thursday morning had a huge surprise in store for them. Kollywood star Ajith and Nayanthara were shooting for their upcoming untitled film directed by Vishnuvardhan in close proximity. And when Ajith’s fans gathered at the shooting spot to get a glimpse of the actor, it resulted in a huge commotion. Fans tried to jump over the gate of the shooting spot and some even got on top of the vehicles. In the process, vehicles were damaged.
According to the Halasuru station police inspector, HK Mahananda, “The film shoot was under way and Ajith’s fans had come to see him on Thursday afternoon. Some of them climbed on the vehicles and in the process vehicles were damaged. When the situation got out of hand, the police had to intervene to clear the mob.”
Meanwhile when we got in touch with a source from the unit, he said, “The situation was under control immediately and hence, the shoot went on without disruption. No property from the set was damaged.”
The film also has Arya and Tapsee in the lead.
