Bhagyaraj gets nostalgic

The audio launch of Bharath-starrer Thirutthani on Sunday morning was a grand affair. Director Perarasu returns after a hiatus and has also taken the on mantle of composing music for the first time.

Bharath is a gym trainer in the movie and Sunaina his love interest. Bharath, who put on extra kilos for the role, had a different lean and bearded look at the event.

After watching the songs on screen actor-director Bhagyaraj became nostalgic. “Perarasu has composed music along with meaningful lyrics. No one could believe that it was Perarasu who has composed the tracks. Because I underwent a similar experience when I turned music composer for Idhu Namma Aalu years back. Everyone thought that I had taken the credit for someone else’s work. Even Amitabh Bachchan didn’t believe that it was my music! He said, ‘You sing a song from the film in front of me, then only will I believe’. I was embarrassed but I did render a song and he was convinced,” he disclosed.
