Businessman speaks Tamil
Looks like young Telugu heroes are fast creating a market for themselves in Tamil Nadu if you go by the increasing number of dubbed films that are releasing in the state. The latest in the list is the superhit Businessman, which is now being dubbed and released in Tamil.
The film stars Telugu heartthrob Mahesh Babu and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead and is directed by commercial movie specialist Puri Jagganadh. The film also boasts a host of supporting actors like Prakash Raj (who plays the villain in the film), Nasser and Sayaji Shinde, who are very familiar to Tamil audiences. The film’s music has been composed by S Thaman.
Though the film has a run-of-the-mill plot that revolves around the hero’s revenge against the man who destroyed his family, it has been critically acclaimed for being an out-and-out entertainer. The film was also a box office hit; Puri and Mahesh Babu are reportedly planning to do a sequel.
