Aamir Khan’s upcoming film Dhoom 3, third of its franchise, produced under YRF banner is now publicized to be the first Bollywood film to be released in IMAX theaters, after being digitally re-mastered in the IMAX format.
The official statement was released on Friday. The film directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, stars Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan, Udhay Chopra is an action-adventure entertainer. Dhoom 3 will be released in IMAX theaters, which is known for high-end digital projection and sound systems, across India and select global locations, in 2013. The film is currently being shot in Chicago. We hear that Katrina would be required to do acro-dancing in the film.
