Director Saran’s next venture is a romantic comedy
Director Saran was not seen in action, after the flop show of ‘Aasal’, an Ajith starrer. The filmmaker, who gave hits like ‘Amarkalam’ and ‘Parthen Rasithen’, is now bouncing back.
The comeback movie of Saran will feature Vinay, his ‘Modhi Vilayadu’ hero, in the lead role. “The film will hit the floors shortly,” sources said.
“His forthcoming film will be a mix of romance and comedy. Hunt is on for the heroine and others members of the cast. An official announcement is expected soon,” sources added.
A former associate of K Balachander, Saran started his journey as a director with ‘Kadhal Mannan’, which had Ajith in the lead. After that, he made three films with the ‘Thala’, and they are ‘Amarkalam’, ‘Attagasam’ and ‘Aasal’.
