Guru, sishyas come together
Composer Raghunanthan is on a high. The audio of his Sundarapandian, which stars Sasikumar in the lead, was launched recently by the ace filmmaker Bala. Interestingly, Sasikumar had made his assistants Muthaiya and Sakratish, who have signed him on in their debut flicks, to receive the audio from his one-time guru.
Raghunanthan cherishes Bala’s praise at the low-key event. “We screened two songs from the film and he told me that he was very impressed with both,” says the composer.
He has managed a coup of sorts by roping in Kaviperarasu Vairamuthu and next gen lyricists Madhan Karky and Na Muthukumar. He says, “Each one has their own distinctive style and since we are all of the same age, we had great fun during composing,” he says.
