Ilayaraja seeks the high court!!
The Veteran music director Ilayaraja’s ‘Aasai Nooru Vagai… Vazhvil Nooru Suvai…’ is a evergreen hit song. The song is from Rajinikanth’s ‘Adutha Vaarisu’ and sung by Malaysia Vasudevan is a mega hit tune till today.
Ram Gopal Varma, the famous director and producer wanted this tune to use in his Hindi film ‘Department’ that stars Amitabh Bachchan and Rana Daggubati. The maestro also gave permission to use only 30 seconds of his tune in their movie.
But the sad news is that the makers were used the entire tune for the song. When Ilayaraja objected this, the makers are not responding it so he went to Madras High court to ban this song on a whole.
On enquiring this judge ordered an interim stay on the use of this tune in their film for a week.
