Ileana’s Barfi! releases in Benelux as well!

South siren Ileana is all set to debut in Bollywood with Anurag Basu’s Barfi!, and looks like the film is taking a bigger opening across the globe.

A source tells us that the film is releasing in several countries outside Asia, including Sweden, Denmark and Ghana! The source adds, “This is, by far, one of the biggest openings for Ileana. Outside Asia, the film will release in USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, South Africa, Nigeria/Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Benelux, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Belgium, Malawi and Botswana. And in Asia, the film releases India, Gulf, Pakistan, Mauritius, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Vietnam.”

Ever since the first trailer of the film, also starring Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, released, it has garnered a lot of appreciation. While outsiders had said that Ileana’s role might not be of much prominence, the trailer stated otherwise. The girl had a lot of footage, and her performance seems to have impressed many.

One of the other highlights of the film is said to be the song, Kilara Shibaki… which is picturised on Ranbir Kapoor. The number has a lot of Tamil, Hindi and Marathi words.
