Lyricist Madan Karky hits a century!
Lyricist Vairamuthu must be a very proud man, as his son Madan Karky seems to have made a niche for himself in the industry as an independent lyricist.
Karky has been on a winning streak of late and has been giving a variety of hit songs be it peppy numbers or romantic melodies.
He is currently working with Mani Ratnam for Kadal and he is thrilled to be working with AR Rahman, whom he says is the reason he came into the industry. “I have grown up listening to his music. He is my closest friend to date,” says the lyricist.
Karky is happy that he is hitting the century mark with Settai with which he completes the 100 song milestone.
“I thank all the directors who have given me the opportunities over the years. Its been an eventful journey,” says Karky. And we are sure the young man has miles to go and many more centuries to hit in future as well…
