Maattrraan release confirmed for October 12
Suriya’s K V Anand-directed Maattrraan is getting ready for a big release on October 12.
It is one of the biggest Tamil releases of the year. Eros International had purchased the film from producers AGS Entertainment for a whopping Rs 80 crore, the highest ever price in recent times for a Tamil film.
Later Eros, through Mediaone Global, sold it to various distributors, area wise in Tamil Nadu.
The promotions of the film are going to kick-start with Suriya and K V Anand calling for a press meet on Sunday in Chennai.
The audio launch of the Telugu film, titled Brothers, is happening today (Sept 29) in Hyderabad.
Maattrraan is slotted as one of the biggest Tamil films of the year, and all rights have been sold before release.
K V Anand says all post production work of the film has been completed and it will be censored in a day or two.
Maattrraan stars Suriya, portraying conjoined twins, along with Kajal Aggarwal. The film has music by Harris Jayaraj and is said to be an all out entertainer.
