Multiple record holder chosen
It’s been quite a while since a children’s film has been made in K’town. To fill the void, director Shiva G is coming out with a full-fledged comedy film titled Chutty Paiyanum Naangu Thirudargalum.
Vijay TV fame Srikanth plays the central character of the chutti (smart) boy and Mahanadhi Shankar, Robo Shankar, Suruli Manohar and Kingkong essay the naangu (four) comic thieves.
Seven-year-old Srikanth holds the distinction of creating the most number of records in an array of talent competitions.
“We watched his remarkable talents on television and felt that he was the right choice for the role of the spirited lead protagonist,” says the director.
Bayilvan Ranganathan, Bhagyanjali, Latha Rao and Saipriya, comprise the supporting cast. The movie went on floors recently in the city, withseveral film personalities attending the event.
