‘Muyal’ Gugan aims at world record

Cameraman-turned-director S.P.S.Gugan has formed an association of videographers and photographers to produce his upcoming film ‘Muyal’ ( to try).

With an ambition to create a world record, Gugan has met his photographer and videographer friends and asked them to co-produce this film. Till date, more than 5,000 people have invested in this project.

Gugan says common people also are welcome to invest and become co-producers. He will keep the forum open till the film is ready for release.
The debutant director earlier produced and handled the camera for ‘Madurai to Theni via Andipatti’ and ‘Sanikkizhamai Sayangalam 5 mani’. Gugan got recognition after ‘Sanikkizhamai’, which he shot with a HDSLR camera, entered the Limca Book of Records.

He says he is really working hard to make ‘Muyal’ a box-office hit and It would be a new experience for him as a first-time director.
The cast includes Murali (who acted in ‘Puzhal’ and ‘Kandupidi’), Saranya (‘Peranmai’), Rajkumar, Prabhu, Shivani, Aishwarya, Meera Krishnan, Singamuthu, Muthukaalai and Ranjani.
JV Prakash scores the music. Besides direction, Gugan cranks the camera. He also wrote the story, screenplay and dialogue.

The film is about forewarning people with entrepreneurial ambitions against pitfalls in their path.
