Actress Neetu Chandra is one happy woman. One of the most prestigious business schools in the country, IIM-A, has invited her to screen her maiden production, Deswa, at its campus.
A source says, “This is the first Bhojpuri film to be invited for a special screening, and Neetu, along with director Nitin Chandra, music composer and the lead actors of the film, will be at the institute on September 22 for the event. Neetu will also deliver a talk.”
Interestingly, Deswa (Des in Hindi) has earlier been screened at several prestigious film festivals including the South Asian Film
Festival, Habitat Film Festival and the recently-held Indian Diaspora in Singapore.
Neetu says, “The film has been seen by several celebrated filmmakers, and even Bihar’s CM, Nitish Kumarji. It’s a flick that portrays my state in a positive light, and I’m proud to have made this one!”
