Pranitha gets lucky
His Tamil debut Veppam produced under Gautham’s banner failed to create a buzz, but Naan Eehas given Nani the necessary break.
If sources are to be believed, the actor is all set to star in the Tamil-Telugu remake of the Bollywood super hit Band Baaja Baaraat.
Directed by Gokul, a former assistant to Vishnuvardhan, the makers are said to have approached Pranitha to play the female lead.
The actress was last seen in Saguni with Karthi. Pranitha, who is also a popular name in T-town, is said to be excited about reprising Anushka Sharma’s role in the rom-com.
Meanwhile, Nani is awaiting the release of his films Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu with Gautham and Janda Pai Kapiraju, which is the Telugu version of the Jayam Ravi starrer Nimirndhu Nil.
