Rana Daggubati shifts his focus on Tamil films. With Ongaram (Krishnam Vanthe Jagath Gurum in Telugu) coming up, he also has Ajith’s and Selvaragavan’s flicks in his kitty. The actor has recently canned few scenes for Ajith’s flim directed by Vishnuvardhan. He is playing a special appearance in the film.
“Ajith is the sweetest person on earth. I was humbled after meeting him. I am doing a special character in the film and it is not a guest appearance. I need to shoot for some more days for the film. I have got to perform a lot in that special role,” says Rana.
Reportedly, Rana will be working on a period film to be directed by Selvaragavan. But he clarifies, “It is not a period film as is being written. It is a very usual Selva style film.”
He has sported a Narasimha avatar in his forthcoming film Ongaram. He says, “Along with Narasimha avatar I have also essayed Abhimanyu and Gadodhgaja in the film. These kind of epic roles have always been a favourite with the Telugu audiences.” Rana’s shirtless look in the recent promos of the bilingual has stunned his female fans. When you tell him girls find him hot, he quickly says, “If my friends hear this they will laugh out loud.
Before I entered films, when I was running a visual effects shop, I didn’t get any attention from girls. Now, it is a great compliment.”
