Taapsee at the center of a controversy
Tollywood producer Lakshmi Manchu is all upset and equally furious, threatening to take legal action. Well, the issue in question is that of the stills of Taapsee which were originally shot for the bilingual film Maranthen Mannithen, produced by Lakshmi Manchu. The stills were used in posters of Pudhuvai Managaram, a dubbing of the malayalam film Doubles.
As lot of hardwork has went into the making of the stills, the producer is all agitated to get justice for the issue. Lakshmi has reportedly notified the Producers Council in Chennai to act against producer Bala who is behind Puduvai Managaram’s release. But Bala in his defence claims being unaware of the poster design.
However, the issue has been sorted out now and the posters of the Puduvai Managaram containing Taapsee pictures are being removed.
