Thuppakki’s Telugu rights sold out for 15 crores
Vijay and Kajal Agarwal starrer film Thuppakki’s theatrical distribution rights for Andhra Pradesh have been procured by Shoba Rani of SVR Media. The production house has payed a sum of Rs 15 crores for the Telugu rights which is a new record considering the Telugu rights business of Tamil movies.
Other producers like Bellamkonda Suresh, Geetha Films and Suresh Films were keen in bagging the rights of the film. Thuppakki is directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu.
The technical crew of the film includes Santosh Sivan for cinematography, Harris Jayaraj for music and Sreekar Prasad for editing. Bollywood star Vidyut Jamwal, Mollywood star Jayaram and Sathyan play important roles.
