Venkat Prabhu’s Suriya film is still on
Director Venkat Prabhu has started work on his next flick Biriyani with Karthi.
The director was in discussion with Suriya for a film, but the official announcement was made with Karthi in the lead.
Venkat has in fact been meeting Suriya in Hyderabad for story discussions. So, the question is whether Karthi has replaced Suriya, and also, whether the film withSuriya is still on.
A close aide to Venkat says, “That was an entirely different script with Suriya, and the film is still on.
As Suriya has to complete Singham 2, he was not able to commence work on Venkat’s film. Once Singham 2 and Biriyani are done, Venkat and Suriya may work together on the film they discussed earlier.”
