Vimal, who has undergone a stylish image makeover for his forthcoming film Sillunnu Oru Sandhippu, is an excited man these days.
The actor has two glamorous leading ladies Oviya and Dipa Shah of Yuddham Sei fame for company in the film.
Directed by Ravi Lallin, one of the songs, ‘Bus-sey Bus-sey’ sung by Vimal himself as a promotional feature, is already a rage on Youtube. The film’s unit interacted with the media recently after the release of the single.
Surprisingly, Vimal did not stay away from the press unlike his earlier act of hiding behind a placard at the Kalakalappu meet.
Denying the reports that it was he who recommended Oviya for SOS, Vimal said, “That’s not my job. It is the producer and director who decide the casting.”
On being probed further about teaming up with the actress for the third time, he jokingly replied, “I have resolved not to act with Oviya hereafter.”
Then he looked at her and asked, “I hope you also agree with my views?” About it being a two-hero subject, he shot back, “Why not? If the script is great it works out fantastically.
A recent example is Kalakalappu, where Shiva and I played the leads. Similarly, in Pandiraj’s multistarrer Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga.
