Citing directors Mani Ratnam, Bala and Gautham Menon as some of her favourites, Janani says that she would like to play a character that would stand out in public memory for years to come.
“When one thinks of Sridevi, it is Moondram Pirai that immediately comes to mind, and Urvashi is synonymous with her role in Michael Madhana Kama Rajan (MMKR). I would like to play a similar role, which will be etched in public memory for years to come,” she says, talking about her ambitions.
