Vishnuvardhan’s film titled as Jai
We all know that director Vishnuvardhan is busy directing Ajith, Aarya, Nayanthara and Tapasee for an untitled movie being procued by A M Rathinam.
Now read the headline again? Confused! Hold on! The title has nothing to do with Ajith’s film.
It is the name of the Tamil version of the Telugu hit Paanja that was directed by Vishnuvardhan which starred Pawan Kalyan in the lead role.
Jai is the Tamil dubbed version of Paanja. It was a story on underworld mafia. Vishnuvardhan, who made movies like Billa, Arindhum Ariyamalum and Pattiyal, made his directorial venture in Tollywood with Paanja.
Sarah-Jane Dias, Anjali Lavania, Jackie Shroff among others were part of the movie.Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored music for the movie.
Though the movie witnessed a lukewarm response at the BO, sources say expectations are high in Tamil for it involves the likes of Vishnuvardhan and Yuvan Shankar Raja.
Buzz is that special promotions are being planned for Jai and the movie will hit the screens later next month.
Meanwhile Vishnu is busy directing Ajith and Co in Bengaluru. The movie reportedly features Ajith as an ethical hacker.
