Who will play Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s heroine in Vijay directed untitled film being produced by Chandraprakash Jain?
The Kollywood grapevine was initially abuzz that it would be director Vijay’s ‘close friend’ Amala Paul. But it did not happen as Amala became too busy with other projects.
Now the latest we hear is that it is a toss-up between Samantha and Yami Gautam. The producers of the film are looking for a heroine who will give bulk dates.
Yami made a sensational splash in Bollywood with her Vicky Donor.
She has already done a film each in Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu and is now doing Radha Mohan’s Gauravam with Allu Sirish.
